The rider, as young as 20, was killed.

A MDA spokesman said: "At 12:28, a report was received at MDA's 101 hotline in the Yarkon area about an accident between an electric bicycle rider and a truck on Road 40 near the pilots' junction. MDA medics and paramedics reported a man in his 20s with no signs of life. And determined his death on the spot. "
MDA paramedic Matan Gida said: "We quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and saw the cyclist lying on the side of the road unconscious and with a very severe multi-system injury.
We performed medical tests on him, he was without signs of life and unfortunately we had to determine his death on the spot. "
Meanwhile, a report was received earlier at Hotline 102 North about a vehicle that deviated from the road and deteriorated into a ditch on Industrial Street on the bypass road in Carmiel.
Three firefighters under the command of Reshef Uzi Bashan, the commander of the shift, rushed to the scene and identified a self-inflicted car accident of a vehicle that had deteriorated to the beach from the road.
Fire crews rescued two adults in their 70s from the canal and transferred them to medical care.
