A young 18-year-old woman was taken into police custody on Monday 6 December, suspected of being linked to "
voluntary homicide
" after the discovery in her accommodation in Haute-Saône of the body of a young man who disappeared at the end of November, a indicated the prosecutor of Vesoul.

An autopsy of the body is scheduled for Tuesday morning and should make it possible to determine the causes of death, Vesoul prosecutor Arnaud Grécourt told AFP.

The young man in his twenties living in Besançon, had not given any sign of life since the night of November 29 to 30, after spending the evening with this young girl he had known for a short time, in Oiselay-et-Grachaux, a small town in Haute-Saône located between Vesoul and Besançon, said the magistrate.
Questioned at the start of the investigation opened initially for worrying disappearance, the young woman had affirmed not to have heard any more from her guest since leaving her home.

But on Monday, investigators from the Besançon judicial police, in charge of the investigation, conducted a search of the young girl's home where they discovered the hidden body.
