Against the background of the government's decision to solve the settlement problem in the Negev, Minister of Welfare Meir Cohen and Minister of the Interior Ayelet Shaked today (Tuesday) conducted a tour of Rahat and the Negev accompanied by Rahat Mayor Faiz Abu Sahiban.

Cohen, the minister in charge of arranging Bedouin settlement in the Negev, and Minister Shaked toured the southern neighborhoods of Rahat, Lakia, Tel Sheva and Hashem Zena, one of the three villages to be established after being approved by the government.

Later, the ministers toured the area in order to see up close the implementation of the government's decision in solving the settlement problem in the Negev through the establishment of the three villages of Khashem Zana, Abda and Rahma.
