Xia Baolong, director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, delivered a video speech yesterday (6th), covering a large part of the Legislative Council election. Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor met with reporters before attending the meeting today (7th) and is expected to talk about the relevant speech.
She took the initiative to explain to the Hong Kong side the preparations for customs clearance.
