Regional summit meeting:
Against the background of the attack tonight (Monday to Tuesday) in the Syrian port of Latakia attributed to Israel, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met in Jerusalem with the President of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiadis and the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In a joint statement from the three leaders, they said: "We recognize the threats in our complex area, which cause a common concern: concern for the climate issue, concern for the health and livelihoods of our people, and concern for our security against terrorism."

"We repel the evil forces of this area - day and night. We will not stop for one second. It happens almost every day. In the face of destructive forces, we will continue to act, persevere and not get tired. At the same time, we strengthen ties with our friends, in all areas."
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Orit Farkash-Hacohen, and the Deputy Minister of Innovation and Technology, Kyriakos Kokkinos, signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of scientific and technological research and the promotion of scientific excellence in Israel and Cyprus.
The agreement strengthens the scientific and technological cooperation between Israel and Cyprus, and provides a new framework for the promotion of ideas and research between the two governments.
