The Russian State Duma condemned the hostile US practices towards Russian citizens in the United States.
The TASS news agency quoted the Duma as saying in a statement that we strongly condemn the aggressive actions of the US authorities against Russian citizens, calling for an immediate end to discrimination against representatives of the Russian community in the United States and respect for their rights.
The statement pointed out that at least 300 Russian citizens permanently residing in the United States were persecuted on trumped-up charges by the US authorities during the past year.
