  • Ludwig Reinbold (34) has been the host of the Schützenfestzelt for ten years

Munich - Now it's getting serious for Ludwig Reinbold (34): The Oktoberfest host from the Schützenfestzelt has to go to court, he is accused of using cocaine.

When asked by our editorial team, the Munich District Court confirmed: "The trial is scheduled for February 4, 2022."

The Munich I public prosecutor's office had already investigated Ludwig Reinbold in the spring, and shortly afterwards he had received a penalty warrant for 100,000 euros.

The suspicion was: Violation of the Narcotics Act.

"I can confirm that it is about the amount of four grams of cocaine," said Attorney General Anne Leiding.

Munich: Wiesn host is said to have taken four grams of cocaine

Ludwig Reinbold is said to have bought the drugs from Hakan P. (38, name changed) - he is the dealer who also supplied several Munich police officers with cocaine.

When he was on trial himself, the dealer unpacked the frame comprehensively.

As part of a leniency program, the dealer helped clear up the coke scandal with the Munich police and named all of his customers - Ludwig Reinbold is said to have been among them.

The authorities had also come across him as part of the investigation into the Disco Heart on Lenbachplatz.

Reinbold is said to have ordered the drugs for a private party in late 2017 or early 2018.

Münchner Wiesn host: is Reinbold now also losing his license?

The young landlord had already appealed against his penalty order - this is the only reason for the public trial, which will take place in the criminal justice center on Nymphenburger Straße.

But: If Reinbold had not contradicted the penalty order, he would have already had a criminal record and would therefore have lost his license.

A dilemma for the Oktoberfest host!

Reinbold could not be reached for a comment.
