Director Ridley Scott raged at the journalist during an interview, after it compared his latest film to his previous films.
The legendary filmmaker gave an interview to a reporter from Russia, who interviewed him about his new film, The Last Duel.
When the interviewer claimed in one of his questions that the new film was more realistic than the director's previous historical dramas, such as "Robin Hood" and "Kingdom of Heaven," Scott was not satisfied.
Even before the interviewer finished his question, Ridley burst into his words and said, "Sir, go ahead, thank you very much, go ahead."
The interviewer responded with a slight grin, apparently thinking it was a humorous response, but Scott and actress Judy Comer did not smile back at him.
The rest of the video can not be seen, but it is another defensive reaction of the director, in view of the failure of his new film at the box office (although it was appreciated by critics).
The film, which stars Komar, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Adam Driver, is a period drama about a knight who challenges his friend to a duel to the death, after his wife claims to him that the boyfriend raped her.
$ 100 million has been invested in producing the film, but so far it has grossed only $ 29 million.
On another occasion, when asked on Mark Mero's famous podcast why he thinks the film is not very successful, the filmmaker replied: 'I think it comes down to the fact that today we are dealing with an audience that grew up on these damn smartphones.
Millennials who do not want to learn anything unless it has been passed on to them by smartphone. '
He went on to say: 'We all thought it was an extraordinary script.
And we did it.
You can't win all the time.
I never regretted a film I directed. '
Were we wrong?
Fixed!
