This morning (7th) Xie Zhuoming's granddaughter, Ms. Chen, revealed to "Hong Kong 01" that yesterday morning (6th) the father-in-law and mother-in-law went to drink tea as usual, and then they went home together.
Because they have the habit of growing vegetables in their apartment at Hengtai Mountain, Yuen Long, they planted the vegetables in their home after drinking tea.
At about 4 pm, the mother-in-law did not notice that the father-in-law left the apartment by herself. When she recovered, the father-in-law had no idea what to do, and the mother-in-law immediately notified the family.
Ms. Chen pointed out that when her father-in-law left the unit, she did not bring his personal name tag and anti-lost tracker. The family was worried about this and called the police for help.
Ms. Chen stated that his father-in-law Xie Zhuoming is about 1.7 meters tall and suffers from dementia. He has retired for many years and has been missing several times in the past. Once, his father-in-law left his home in Hengtai Mountain alone and was missing for nearly three days before being finally found in North Point.
Since then, in order to prevent the father-in-law from being lost again, the family has prepared a brand name and a tracker for him.
At present, the family estimates that the father-in-law made his last appearance at the 608 minibus terminal at Hengtaishan, Pat Heung, Kam Tin, but his whereabouts are unknown.
The family members said that when the father-in-law was missing, he was wearing a white checkered shirt, blue jeans and black short water shoes. They hoped that the missing father-in-law could be found as soon as possible.
