The novel (The Road Breaks) is characterized by the first work of Samar Al-Kallas, in its sweet and smooth poetic language, synchronized with the narrative event, which moves in a comfortable sequence that prompts the reader to follow the events to reveal the secrets of the novel.
The novel talks about the pain of the displaced Syrians from the consequences of the terrorist war on our country and monitors the death and destruction that this war has inflicted on humans, stones, birds and plants.
The events of (The Road Is Broken) revolve between Damascus, India and Libya to tell about the customs, traditions and spiritual life of peoples in the Near East and how the writer views them through the story of a family that was forced by circumstances and events to emigrate.
The novel issued by the Syrian General Book Organization is located in 270 pages of medium volume.
It is noteworthy that Samar El-Kallas holds a postgraduate diploma in botany and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Algerian universities, writing the short story.
