Huang Keqiang said that five or six years ago when headhunting companies approached him as the chief executive officer of the Science Park, he was still not optimistic. However, as the Hong Kong government has invested more than HK$130 billion in promoting innovation and technology development in recent years, the atmosphere has improved. So far, at least 18 companies have boarded. On the list of unicorns, 12 of them are local companies, including SenseTime, which was established in the Science Park in 2014 and now has a market value of US$12 billion, and LALAMOVE; another 6 companies have been attracted to Hong Kong.

He believes that traditional industries should also use technology to grasp the industrialization of technology and industrial technology. He also bluntly said that food also needs technology, such as the realization of automation and the implementation of unmanned spaces.

About 1,000 technology companies are currently stationed in the Science Park.
