Kirchdorf

- "Hopefully the budget will turn out as we imagined", summed up Mayor Uwe Gerlsbeck (CSU) in the most recent Kirchdorf municipal council meeting after the statements of the treasurer Florian Haider.

Since the economy, according to Haider in the written summary, will still feel the pandemic in 2022, the community would do well to continue to "drive on sight" with great foresight.

For the 2022 budget, according to Haider, due to the 8.2 percent increase in volume in the administrative budget compared to the previous year, it can be seen that an extreme austerity course has been taken this year due to the pandemic.

The figures for 2022: the total volume is 10.33 million euros, of which 7.68 million euros are in the administrative budget and 2.65 million euros in the asset budget.

As major construction measures in 2021, Haider cited the kindergarten extension with 1.16 million euros and the Helfenbrunn village renewal measures with 569 689 euros to date, with additional costs of around 800,000 euros.

The pedestrian crossing on the main street costs 65,000 euros, the digital upgrade of the school costs 230,345 euros - however, there is still funding pending.

The costs for CO2 traffic lights and room air purifiers for the elementary school, lunchtime care and the children's home are just as high - namely just under 70,000 euros, for which around 35,000 euros in funding were requested.

The projects for the coming year

What's up for the coming year?

The completion of the village renewal in Helfenbrunn, various road construction measures amounting to 345,000 euros, planning costs for the development of new building areas of around 90,000 euros and the renovation of the sewage treatment plant, which will cost around 300,000 euros.

In the coming year, too, the community will continue to be looking for a full-time treasurer, which has been rather difficult for a long time due to a market that has been swept empty.

On the other hand, two new positions in the housekeeping department of the children's home for preparing lunch have already been filled.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

What Silvia Milburn (Greens) was very happy about: In the household there is also a new kitchen planned for the children's house, as the old one is probably no longer in very good condition.

For Helmut Wildgruber (FWG), however, it was important that attention should also be paid to road maintenance so that it always remains in good condition.

His suggestion: take a different Kirchdorfer Strasse every year.

As in the previous year, the municipal council approved taking out a cash loan up to a maximum of one million euros - if necessary at all - to ensure that the municipal treasury pays expenses in good time.

The budget charter was launched unanimously with the budget for 2022.
