Leicester City face a severe Corona blow to the team, 24 hours before the critical encounter with Napoli in the Europa League.
The Foxes must win tomorrow (Thursday, 19:45) in Italy to secure first place in the third house, but will have to make do without seven players left in England due to the situation.
Some were found positive for Corona and some remained because they did not feel well.
Manager Brendan Rogers confirmed at the press conference ahead of the game that there was a Corona outburst on the team, and that three of the club members were also found positive.
"There are some players and team members who are not here with us. We had some who were found positive and some who did not feel good."
The coach continued: "It's something that has really developed in the last few days. Suddenly we started to see more and more contagious. We still have a strong staff here, only he is not really fully fit. It will not upset us in such a way that players will have to play in a different position or something."
The Leicester outburst comes after a similar outburst at Tottenham, in which eight players and five staff members who were forced into solitary confinement were infected.
But under UEFA rules, as long as the Spurs have one goalkeeper and at least 13 qualified players, they will have to play in the Conference League against Ran tomorrow.
Tottenham and Leicester are set to meet next Thursday in the Premier League, and it is now unclear whether the game will actually take place.
