The event, which was held by the SARC branch in the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah today, under the title “Safety for all.. Gender-based violence is not acceptable” included artistic, theatrical and lyrical activities and success stories of several influential women who have experiences in the fields of work and culture.
The event, which was held within the framework of the 16 Days Campaign to Combat Violence against Women, included two theatrical performances that included various paintings on the types of violence perpetrated against women, various lyrical and artistic segments, and a documentary presentation on the activities of the Psychological Support Department in the Crescent Organization branch in Al-Hasakah and the services it provided to women in the context of combating violence, in addition to To present the success stories of women who were able to overcome the various manifestations of violence practiced on them and left different imprints in sectors and fields of work.
The director of the Crescent branch in Al-Hasakah, Elaf Al-Hamoud, told SANA reporter that the branch attaches great importance to supporting women by implementing awareness and practical activities that enhance their role in building society, noting that today's event was carried out in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
