Another female soldier reveals: I was harassed by the terrorist in Gilboa Prison - the commanders knew and did nothing
According to the soldier, who served as a prison guard, security prisoner Mahmoud Atallah used to sexually harass her: "He touched me when I handcuffed him."
She said that although she revealed the things to the prison officers, they did not act on the case.
She also said that the terrorist called her after she was released: "He said that a prisoner brought him my number."

Another female soldier in compulsory service who served in Gilboa Prison as a prison guard in the security department said that security prisoner Mahmoud Atallah used to sexually harass her.
This increased the number of wardens in which Atallah committed indecent acts, two female soldiers and two permanent wardens.
"In one case, when I handcuffed him at the exit of the wing, he touched me," the soldier told Walla !.
Revital (pseudonym) served in Gilboa Prison until her release in 2017.
It was only after the prisoner's affair in June 2018 was revealed that she approached Warden N. who was sexually assaulted by Atallah and revealed to her that Atallah used to touch her as well, and that as in the case of the three guards from the pimp affair - her commanders knew about it and did nothing.
Revital even named a female intelligence officer from Gilboa Prison who knew that Atallah had harassed her and did not act on the case.

She added that after she was released from prison, Atallah called her on her cell phone and told her that he missed her. Revital, astonished that Atallah was calling her from jail, asked him where he got her phone number from. He replied that a prison guard had given him the number - and even told her that he knew where she and her partner lived.
She immediately hung up, but the incident and the sexual harassment she experienced in prison flooded her and as she recounted, she now experiences anxieties and does not dare share with anyone what she went through. "She saw how we were abandoned by the IPS and how we have to deal with everything that happens to ourselves, so she is afraid to reveal what she went through and complain to the police," said warden N.
Walla! Levy testified under oath about the IPS 'conduct in the affair, as revealed to it by the prison guards and other officials who served in Gilboa Prison.

On Tuesday, the commander of Gilboa Prison, Gondar Mishnah Freddie Ben Sheetrit, testified for about an hour and a half.
He said he did not know in real time about what was happening at Gilboa Prison, and was first exposed to the case in the media - and then in 2019 when he was the assistant to IPS Commissioner Asher Vaknin, who accepted the investigation and decided together with then-Minister Gilad Ardan to return the intelligence officer.
"Upon entering my position as commander of Gilboa Prison, I made it clear that this issue is a candle to my feet and that such things must not happen," he said in his testimony to the police.
Ben Sheetrit's remarks add nothing to the police investigation, and can not help establish an evidentiary basis for committing a criminal offense.
However, the investigation file as agreed and transferred to the prosecution in December 2019, allegedly contains sufficient evidentiary infrastructure to file an indictment against the intelligence officer after he admitted in the police investigation that he had placed a warden in the Atallah wing.
This is because he mentioned her name and also admitted that she complained to him - but did not document it and did not report that he talked about it with the terrorist.
Now the prosecution will have to reconsider the case.
