Michelle Mary Colon, Miss Puerto Rico who is currently in Israel as part of the Miss Universe pageant, managed to excite many when she revealed her Jewish connection.
21-year-old Mary Colon, a medical student, made history when she was elected the first black Miss Puerto Rico, and now she is also revealing the Jewish branch in her family root tree.
"My great-grandfather, Rudolfo Cohen, was a Holocaust survivor," Colon wrote in an exciting post she posted to her Instagram last week, in which she is seen holding hands with Israel's chosen beauty queen Noa Kochba at Yad Vashem.
