The Department of Health announced yesterday (7th) 5 new imported confirmed cases. Among them, 4 patients were confirmed to have the L452R variant virus. To date, there have been 12,472 cases in Hong Kong, and an 80-year-old male patient is in critical condition.

The two-week social distancing measures will expire at midnight tonight (8th), and most of the measures will remain unchanged from tomorrow (9th).
