The Social Security website experienced a cyber attack today (Wednesday) and fell for a short time only.
The attack focused on loading information about the site and was handled by Social Security cyber and computer personnel.
As of this moment, no general databases and public information have been hacked.
Last October, hackers attacked the computer systems of Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.
In that attack, the hackers demanded ransom to stop their actions.
Following this, Hillel Yaffe asked the Ministry of Health and MDA to refer only urgent cases.
Also, the medical care of the patients who are in the hospital took place on an ongoing basis, except with regard to non-urgent elective activity.
The incident was reported to the Ministry of Health and the immediate cyber array and handled by experts.
In another case that month, a group of Iran-affiliated Black Shadow hackers claimed responsibility for hacking into the servers of the Israeli company Cyberserve, which provides storage services to several large sites damaged by a cyber attack.
The attack led to the collapse of the sites and the theft of data from large sites such as Kavim, Pegasus and the LGBT dating site Atref. About a million members are registered on the Atref website.
