The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs organized a number of rationing seizures against violating commercial activities.
The Director of Internal Trade, Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, told SANA reporter that the organized violations included the seizure of 100 kg of catering flour intended to be disposed of for other than the intended purpose in a bakery in the town of Qutina, and the production and packing of poorly manufactured catering bread against bakeries in the towns of Qutainah and Al-Musharafa, and the transportation of catering bread without plastic baskets against an authorized person. He explained that the seizures also affected several violations, including illegally disposing of the fuel oil intended for transportation for a purpose other than its intended purpose, against servicing on the market promenade line, and announcing an additional price for wages instead of transporting passengers against servicing on the Homs suburb of al-Assad line.
Al-Youssef indicated that the seizures included displaying and throwing the meat of the Awassi female slaughtered outside the approved slaughterhouses and without the approval of the competent committees against a shop in the town of Marmarita, dealing with lamb slaughtered outside the municipal slaughterhouses and not stamped with the seal of the slaughterhouse approved against a shop in the village of Hawlaya, and combining two types of red meat against a shop in the neighborhood Hamidia.
He pointed out that the seizures also included violations of possession of expired materials against a shop in the town of Khirbet al-Tin, possession and offer for sale of unknown materials against a shop in the camp neighborhood, and the lack of the statement card against a shop in the Karm al-Shami neighborhood, and the failure to deliver heating oil to the homes of citizens against a tank belonging to a fuel station. On the Homs-Damascus road, refraining from selling against a shop in the Al-Qarabees neighborhood and practicing a profession without obtaining the necessary license against shops in the neighborhoods of Jourat Al-Arayes and Souq Al-Hal.
