Goodman spoke to the media about the journey he has been on to lose weight since 2007 - a journey that until recently he has never been able to persevere with. In an interview with Page Six, he said: "I used to take a three-month break, lose 27 or 30 pounds, then give myself a gift in the form of six beers or whatever, and just get back to my old habits. This time I wanted to do it slowly. Move, do fitness. I'm reaching an age where I can no longer afford to sit in a place anymore. "

Goodman says that for several years he ranged from a healthy diet to eating unhealthy food, and pushed, in his words, "everything I could here, without thinking about it too much."

He said he decided to change his lifestyle and eating habits when his body weight reached 181 kg. So he started avoiding alcohol and hired the services of well-known celebrity trainer Mackie Shilston. Part of the change included moving to a Mediterranean menu of fish, olive oil, Vegetables, nuts and fruits. At the same time, the actor said, he constantly walked between ten thousand and 12 thousand steps daily.

He further said that for him, the important thing in the process was controlling the dosages and the ability to understand when food is a necessary or excessive thing.

"It takes a lot of creative power to sit on your ass and try to figure out what the next thing you are going to eat," he said in an interview with People magazine.

"I wanted to live better."
