There is no Christmas party without the voluntary commitment of the Starnberg Middle School: For the eighth time, the pupils have participated in the “Children help children” campaign.

Starnberg - "Despite the difficult conditions caused by the pandemic and special precautionary measures, the project was able to take place," reports school principal Heinz Preßl. As in previous years, teacher Daja Koop took over the project management and, together with some colleagues and the students, was able to count 70 parcels in the end - decorated with Christmas motifs and filled with writing utensils, notebooks, stuffed animals, small toys and sweets, for example.

"These have now been forwarded to Munich by Ulrike Potschka, head of the Adra organization for the Starnberg district, where they are looked through and packed for customs," reports Preßl.

They should then be sent to their recipients in Eastern Europe.

"The goal is once again very clear this year: Many children and young people who would otherwise not receive a Christmas present can look forward to a great package on Christmas Eve," emphasizes the school principal, who supported the campaign.

A special thank you from the Starnberg Middle School goes to many Tutzing shops, who, despite the pandemic, have enriched the project with enormous donations with which the parcels could be filled.
