The Great Gnocchi Robbery: A truck that delivered $ 30,000 (Australian) Gnocchi to Australian restaurants was stolen in the dead of night.
The carb crime occurred when the driver of the transport truck brought gnocchi crates into the cold room of one of the branches of the Italian Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers chain in the city of Brisbane, not noticing that thieves had taken over his refrigerated Toyota Hilux truck and fled into the darkness with the doughy loot in their possession.
As of this writing, the truck has not yet been located and the fate of the gnocchi is in the fog.
"Too bad for the gnocchi, I really care about the poor gnocchi. I know it sounds silly, but a lot of work has been put into it," said Ben Cleary-Cordini, one of the restaurant owners, who was the first stop on the distribution route that began at the chain's gnocchi factory. ... well, that's actually the mystery.

"I hope the truck is returned, but Lord of the Worlds, I pray they will take care of the gnocchi properly. Please do not throw it in the trash, it is a fresh and beautiful gnocchi," added Cleary-Cordini, who apparently loves gnocchi very much.
The restaurant owner even scanned the area with his partner, Theo Rodoner, hoping it was a prank by teenagers, but unfortunately their searches revealed pottery.
Now the desperate partners are asking for the public’s help in locating the stolen goods, promising “endless bowls of gnocchi” (including Italian cocktails, which will not get stuck in the throat) to anyone who will provide reliable information about the gang of dumpling hijackers.

From an in-depth review we conducted, the chain offers no less than seven types of tempting gnocchi (bolognese, spicy tomatoes and olives, pesto, mushrooms, etc.) so that the potential informant can enjoy a different treat on any of the days of the week, if it does help crack the affair.
