Alan DeGeneres' show this
week
and revealed that she not only believes in spirits - but also lives in the house. Haunted by the ghost of a veteran movie star. Spencer has no real idea what the name of the dead man who is chasing her is, but she says he starred in old westerns.
On the show, Alan DeGeneres told Spencer she believes in ghosts and asked about her haunted home.
Spencer replied, "I grew up watching Westerns and bought this house, and he owned a man who played Westerns, so I was probably a fan of his."
She added: "I think he's my guard. I love him because he kind of ... eliminates the bad people who should not be with me. He drives them out."
When asked in what way, she replied: "You know, if they stay with me, they do not want to come back and that way I know they do not belong here, because if you are a person who belongs here, then everyone will say 'oh, your place is so welcoming, it's all That's great. 'That's how I feel about it. "

Octavia Spencer was also asked if the ghost closes doors for her or does scary things at home and she replied: "When I travel for a long time, she behaves a bit suspiciously. The doors close, the lights go out when I turn them on. I love my spirit. I just do not want you to bring "You have your spirit in my house. I do not want anyone's ghost to think she can be a friend of my spirit."
Finally, Spencer added: "My spirit can haunt me but it does not haunt me. We have limits."
