The new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will make an official visit to Paris this Friday where he will meet the Head of State Emmanuel Macron before going to Brussels, the Chancellery announced on Wednesday (December 8th).

In the Belgian capital, he is due to meet with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the Council Charles Michel with the preparation of the European summit next week on the program, the chancellery said in a press release.
