The Netanyahu trial

As stated, the public disagrees as to whether the Netanyahu trial is an attempt to use the legal process for political purposes.

42% agreed with this claim and 39% disagreed.

19% did not have a clear opinion on the subject.

A large majority of opposition party voters agree that Netanyahu's trial is an attempt to use the legal process for political purposes, while a majority of coalition party voters do not agree.

Vaccination of children

56% of the public support the vaccination of children aged 11-5.

Less support was found among those aged 44-25 - 46%, who had more parents of children of age relevant to the vaccine in this group than in the other age groups.

The highest support for childhood vaccines was among the elderly population over the age of 65-73%.

No significant differences were found in support for child vaccines between Jews and Arabs, but there were between political camps among the Jewish public: support was 67% higher on the left and 62% in the center than in the right than 52%.

It was also found that men's support for children's vaccine is higher than women's support - 61% and 51%.

From the segmentation of the Jewish public according to the level of religiosity, it was found that the highest support for children's vaccines was among seculars - 65%, and then, without significant differences, about 50% among religious, ultra-Orthodox and traditional.

Iran

56% of the public estimate that Iran is an existential danger to a large or very large extent to Israel, about a quarter believe that its danger is moderate and only a minority - 13% believe that its danger is small or not at all a danger.

The differences between the Jewish public and Arabs are dramatic: while a large majority - 62% of Jews believe that Iran is an existential danger to Israel, only a minority - 19% of Arabs think so.

In addition, about 51% of the public agree that Israel must militarily attack Iran's nuclear facilities even without American consent, less than a third - 31% did not agree with this claim.

Large gaps were found in support of the attack between Jews - 58% and Arabs - 18%.

Here, too, the gaps between the political camps among the Jewish public are large: on the right about two-thirds - 67% because Israel should attack Iran even without American consent, half of the center think so and on the left just over a third - 37.5%.

In general, there was no significant change in public opinion around Iran on both questions than in the February survey.

Restricting the term of office of the Prime Minister

Nearly two-thirds - 64% of the public support the bill according to which anyone who has been indicted for an offense punishable by 3 years in prison or more will not be able to serve as prime minister.

In all political camps in the Jewish public, the percentage of supporters of this legislation exceeds the proportion of those who oppose it, but the gaps between the camps are significant: half of the right support the law - 50%, compared with a large majority in the center - 78% and an absolute majority in the left - 90%.

61.5% support a proposal to limit the term of office of the prime minister to eight years, when the law does not apply retroactively to former prime ministers.

Once again, the gaps between the camps among the Jewish public are large: about half of the right - 53% support, compared with a large majority in the center - 76% and on the left - 83%.

The Israeli Voice Index of the Viterbi Center for Public Opinion and Policy Research at the Israel Democracy Institute is compiled once a month by Prof. Tamar Herman and Dr. Or Anavi, and is based on a nationally representative sample (764 respondents) of the entire adult population in Israel aged 18 and over. The sample is 3.59%.
