Today, Prime Minister Eng. Hussein Arnous approved the recommendation of the Economic Committee, which includes approving the contract between Damascus University and the Military Construction Implementation Corporation to implement the necessary works to finish the internal and external cladding of the remaining blocks of the expansion project of the Faculty of Science at Damascus University.
The Chairman of the Council also approved the committee’s recommendation to ratify the contract between the Directorate of Technical Services in Tartous Governorate and the Military Housing Corporation to implement the construction of the Western Safita School, as part of the Ministry of Education’s plan to complete the construction of schools in the governorate.
Arnous also agreed with the committee’s recommendation to support the proposal of the Ministries of Industry, Economy and Foreign Trade and the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry to extend the ban on the import of sodium hypochlorite until the end of 2022, provided that the substance continues to be available in local markets at reasonable prices.
