"It's understandable that she was stabbed while she was leading her children. But pretty quickly things got sorted out."
"MDA brought to the trauma unit at Hadassah Mount Scopus injured with a stab wound to the upper back," described the director of the surgical department who received the 26-year-old woman for treatment this morning.
We stabilized it, the knife could be taken out and transferred to imaging tests that were normal - so its condition is defined as mild and fortunately the injury was superficial.

In addition, Jerusalem District Commander Superintendent Doron Turgeman said at the end of an assessment of the situation in the arena: The police arrested the suspect in the act inside a girls' school near the scene of the attack and she was taken for questioning by a Jerusalem police officer. The attack took place near the tomb of Shimon Hatzadik and was carried out by a Palestinian girl aged 15. MDA staff provided the victim with medical treatment and she was evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in critical condition and her condition was defined as mild. The woman was stabbed while on her way to school with her children, who were not injured and remained under the supervision of the police on the spot.
