The 27-year-old Wu Cuihua currently belongs to the East Kowloon Stormtrooper. She graduated from the Chinese Literature Department of City University, joined the police force for 4 years, and transferred to the East Kowloon Stormtrooper for about 5 months.

There are 4 brothers and sisters in her family, as well as two elder brothers and one sister.

The family felt that she had a quieter personality, but she was the only one who became a policeman.

The incident occurred at about 1:20 am when the police received a report that a woman had fallen into the sea on the waterfront of Kwun Tong.

Assault vehicle No. 57 belonging to Wu Cuihua was patrolling two streets across, so it was the first to arrive after receiving the report.

Wearing plain clothes at the time, when she arrived at the scene, she found that the woman who fell into the sea was floating on the surface of the sea near the pier. The opponent had only one blister hanging by a thread. After assessing the situation, she immediately unloaded her equipment and jumped into the sea to rescue people.

"The woman who fell into the sea (in the sea) said she was unhappy. After drinking, she accidentally fell into the sea. Qu (the woman victim) was so panicked that she kept holding me, and I continued to comfort him." Wu Cuihua recounted the situation of saving people by falling into the sea at the time. Fortunately, The police launch arrived a few minutes later, and the firefighter also fell into the sea to assist. Finally, the woman was rescued on the police launch and sent back to the shore of the pier, where she was sent to the hospital for treatment.

She confessed that this is the first time that she has truly saved people.

In the process of falling into the sea to save people, Wu Cuihua said that she kept comforting the female victim, and quoted the female victim as saying: "Why do you have good luck? Sorry, I don't want to get tired of you."

However, Wu Cuihua felt that she could save people because of her good luck. "You can talk about the (female victim) good luck. In fact, it may be my good luck. I can use what I have learned before and bury it in the neighborhood. ......If I can say that I am lucky, I can meet him (the female victim), and use my skills to save him."

Wu Cuihua pointed out that saving someone this time was another happiest thing after becoming a policeman.

She shared her feelings: "Under the same circumstances as the (female) victim, I can understand the feeling of life hanging by a thread. The moment of satisfaction is the same as dealing with other crimes. It is to save a life and not only affect it. (Female victim) A person, at the same time, affects friends around him, people in the house, etc."

The success of saving people this time also depends on Wu Cuihua's past lifesaving training.

It turned out that she started learning to swim when she was 6 years old, and she started to learn about life saving competitions in the second grade of middle school.

She laughed and said that by chance, she bit her scalp and felt "Go and frighten me". Over time, she became very interested in life-saving sports. Later, she switched from swimming to focus on life-saving. Drowning in sports and competitions, during which he also took the lifesaving medal and part-time lifeguard.

In the 2016 World Life Saving Championships held in the Netherlands in 2016, Wu Cuihua and her partner Huang Xueying won the Women Line Throw (Women Line Throw) and won the gold medal in 12.53 seconds. Later in 2018 She won the world championship in the same competition again in the same year. She described being an athlete very similar to a policeman, with great demands on physical fitness and will, and similar requirements for self-discipline. Her current ambition is to continue to develop in the police force and hope to contact different departments in the future. They will also apply for the Inspectorate level.
