The young woman, Nadia Al-Khabbaz, did not fear following the fine art exhibitions hosted by the Cultural Center in the square, and her admiration for the paintings of the artist Magdy Al-Zawahri, which were characterized by a childish nature, but in a different way, characterized the paintings of this young artist.
The exhibition entitled (Sindo Fuchsia) was distinguished by its involvement in human affairs in a surreal way that is close to reality. Through his paintings, Al-Zawahri tried to express his feelings of childishness by using different materials such as wax, acrylic and chalk.
Al-Zawahri, according to what he pointed out to SANA Culture, made a deliberate use of these different materials, using a mixture of different plastic schools and combining abstract expressionism and realism with symbolism and expressionism, to produce paintings that are different in their subjects, but they share an expression of innocence and inner pain.
It is noteworthy that the plastic artist Majdi Al-Zahrawi is a member of the General Union of Palestinian Plastic Artists, the Syria branch.
