These filmed images, which are said to be the only ones of the novelist, provoke emotion.
We see a silhouette that is both elegant and fragile, almost hopping… One thing is certain, Marcel Proust was very present at the Madeleine that day, among the guests at the wedding of his friend's daughter, Countess Greffulhe.
The very one who was one of the models of the Duchess of Guermantes.
The writer was there, in his world, that of the high society of the Belle Époque.
