On the day before (6th) in Ciyun Mountain, a 24-year-old woman surnamed Chen was stabbed in the abdomen by her 46-year-old mother surnamed Yang. Yang's wife was arrested on suspicion of wounding. He died at 2:50 am.
The police reclassified the case as murder and charged Yang Fu with one murder charge. She appeared in the Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts this morning.
The police seized a meat cleaver, suspected to be related to the case.
The police said that a report was received at about 3 am the day before yesterday, stating that someone was calling for help at a unit in Ching Wo House, Tsz Ching Estate, Wong Tai Sin.
Officers rushed to the scene and found a 24-year-old woman surnamed Chen injured in the abdomen. She was unconscious and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
After preliminary investigation, the officers arrested a 46-year-old woman surnamed Chen at the upper site on suspicion of injuring someone.
The 24-year-old woman was certified dead at 2:50 a.m. yesterday. It is known that the girl was engaged in civilian work.
After further investigation by the police, the case was reclassified as murder.
