The U.S. Department of Justice announced today (Wednesday) a forfeiture operation of two Iranian weapons depots that includes 171 surface-to-air missiles, eight anti-tank missiles and about 1.1 million barrels of Iranian oil products. Of ongoing security patrols in recent years.

"The actions of the United States in both cases are harming the Iranian government and the criminal network that supports the Revolutionary Guards," said Attorney General Matthew Olsen.

"The Legal Department will continue to use all available tools to combat the threat of terrorist organizations and those seeking to harm the United States and its allies."

The raids on the vessels took place on November 25, 2019 and February 9, 2020, respectively.
