Forget about eating your cookies alongside a cup of coffee, tea or milk, and start getting used to the next trend: cookies with wine.
The award-winning alcoholic beverage maker Barefoot is a member of the world-famous cookie brand, and the result is a red wine that is recommended for a special sip alongside Oreo Thins cookies - the thin and refined cousins of regular Oreo cookies.
Absolutely real.

"Everyone knows red wine goes great with chocolate, but Oreo Thins cookies and America's favorite wine, Barefoot, are now collaborating and taking this classic combination one step further," said Cindy Krenzman, Oreo Thins brand manager.
"Oreo Thins have always been the perfect Oreo cookies for adults, and we are excited to launch this perfect and mature coordination," she concluded.
Whereas Jen Wall, of Barefoot, added that "after an in-depth study where we tried countless combinations, we decided to match the Oreo cookies to a bright red berry-based red wine."

It should be noted that the wine itself, which contains 13 percent alcohol, does not contain Oreo cookies at all, not even crumbs.
However, it boasts aromas and notes reminiscent of chocolate and cream, and is fortified with cherry and aspen flavors (Blackberry).
The wine, whose full name is Barefoot x Oreo Thins Red Blend Wine, goes on sale starting December 9 on the Barefoot website only, and will not be available in regular stores.
For $ 25, buyers will receive a fancy package in a limited edition with a pair of 750 ml wine bottles, and of course - also a package of Oreo Thins cookies for ultimate indulgence.
