In Israel today, it is confirmed that journalist Daniel Siriuti will end his position, following an investigation in which he is suspected of trying to extort tens of thousands of shekels from an innocent citizen after he fabricated a story about sexual harassment and a police investigation allegedly conducted against that citizen. According to the interrogation broadcast last week on the tube program on Network 13, Siriuti increased the do and claimed to the citizen that the sexual harassment, which as stated did not occur at all, was towards the man's children.

When the citizen suspected that Serioti was selling him stories, Serioti reassured him and said it was something he had done several times before. That is, he closed more cases in the police.

Sirioti, one of the oldest and most senior journalists in Israel today, was the head of a newspaper desk and even the winner of the "Shield of Social Justice," an award he received from Netanyahu.

Recently, Siriuti made headlines after he was attacked and beaten "because of his journalistic work" he claimed.

Pipe researcher Amir Shuan also revealed, among other things, that Siriotti had previously been convicted of crimes, was investigated in the current case by the police, but continued to work for the newspaper even after and even covered the police.

Changing newspaper versions

On behalf of Daniel Serioti through his lawyer Shirley Tuvia Amit, the police responded: "A complaint was filed by Yariv Chen to the police. Of my client for this, is irrelevant and deprived of any foundation. "

In Israel today, they initially denied any connection between the findings of the investigation and being a serial employee employed by the newspaper, but close to the broadcast they responded: "The acts attributed to reporter Daniel Serioti are serious and require investigation. We trust the law enforcement system. "A journalist's is contrary to the newspaper's values. The reporter was taken on immediate leave from his job at the newspaper."

Today was delivered from Israel today in response to Walla!

Brenze: "A few days ago, Daniel Sirioti's employment in Israel ended today. We wish him success in the future."
