The prosecution has decided: will not appeal the sentence of Aryeh Schiff, who shot to death a burglar in his car
The announcement of the decision came after last month the family of the burglar Muhammad al-Atrash was furious at the sentence, according to which Schiff would want nine months of community service, without having to sit in jail at all.

The prosecution announced today (Thursday) that it will not appeal the sentence of Aryeh Schiff, who was sentenced to serve nine months of community service without sitting in jail, after being shot to death by Muhammad al-Atrash, a burglar who broke into his car.
Earlier this month the court decided not to grant the prosecution's request to delay Schiff's service work, to consider filing the appeal.
