The tragedy of the Oded family:
After his condition improved during the week and he regained consciousness and was disconnected from the respirator, today (Thursday) the condition of Yaniv Oded, the father whose children were killed in the fatal accident in Benjamin, deteriorated.
The hospital said that the medical staff had to reconnect Yaniv to the ventilator.
He is now being resuscitated and anesthetized, his condition defined as severe but stable.
In an accident that occurred on Friday at the Ofarim junction on Road 465 in Binyamin, two children from the Moeded family were killed - 6-year-old Hillel and 3-year-old Tov Rai.
Their father Yaniv and their mother Hoodia (who was in an advanced pregnancy, and lost her fetus in an accident) were seriously and fatally injured when their vehicle collided with a Palestinian vehicle.
An investigation into the accident in Benjamin shows that the collision occurred when the Palestinian vehicle made a U-turn in a continuous dividing line.
The two young Palestinians in the vehicle were also killed.
