A first complaint for rape was filed at the end of November against Nicolas Hulot, indicates this Friday a source close to the file in
Figaro
, confirming information from LCI.
The person in question had testified in the report of Special Envoy, which revealed the account of several women accusing the former Minister of the Environment of sexual violence.

The complaint concerns facts dating back to 1989, when the complainant was 16 years old.
She accuses Nicolas Hulot of having raped her in the latter's car, after having attended a program that he then hosted in Paris.
According to our information, she was recently interviewed by the juvenile brigade of the judicial police in charge of the case.
Since November 26, a preliminary investigation has been opened by the Paris prosecutor's office, following the broadcast of the investigation on the France 2 channel. One of the prosecutors statutorily responsible for supervising this new investigation is the same who had filed the 2008 investigation, at the Paris prosecutor's office.
In total, six women implicate Nicolas Hulot, two of whom have testified openly.

The day before the report was broadcast, the former government minister of Édouard Philippe had formally denied these accusations on BFMTV. He had announced to leave
public life
"
definitively
" in order to protect his relatives and his Foundation from the fallout of a "
lynching
". Still on the set of the continuous news channel, his lawyer Me Alain Jakubowicz, who defends Nicolas Hulot with Me Jacqueline Laffont, for his part welcomed the opening of the investigation:
