German deputies adopted a law on Friday December 10 obliging medical staff to be vaccinated against Covid-19, the first step before a vaccination obligation extended to the entire population expected at the beginning of next year.

The bill, aimed at protecting particularly vulnerable groups, was approved with a large majority by the Bundestag where social democrats, environmentalists and liberals have a majority, with 571 votes in favor and 80 against.
