The competitions for the first round of the governorate football league for the cubs and juniors categories were concluded today on the grounds of the Suwayda and Shahba industrial stadiums, which witnessed the participation of 10 teams in two groups that included the first, Al-Arabi, Arman, Al-Quraya, Al-Omal, Salkhad, and the second by Shahba Al-Raha, Lahetha, Douma and Al-Shabiba.

In the Cubs category, the Al-Arabi team defeated the workers with five goals free of charge, while the match between Al-Qaria and Salkhad ended with the second victory 2-1. Thus, Al-Arabi topped the first group with 12 points, leaving the second place for the Arman team with 7 points, and they qualified together for the second round. 6-0 to finish second in the group standings after the leaders Shahba, and always beat Al Shabiba 2-1.

In the junior category, the Workers’ Team beat Al-Arabi 2-1, thus becoming the second team in the group with 4 points, behind the leaders Salkhad with six points, and together they reached the second round. In the second group, the Al-Raha team defeated Lahatha legally 3-0 to finish second in the group after Shahba the leader to reach the second round. Al Shabiba beat Douma 2-1 in the same group matches.

He will meet in the second round next week in the Arab cubs category with Lahetha and Shahba with Arman, while he will play in the junior category, Salkhad with the mill and Shahba with the workers.
