Former United States President Donald Trump has said he believes former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has treated him with disloyalty and kindness, despite all he has done for him during his four years in the White House.

"I have not spoken to him since the US election, let him go fuck," Trump said.

Trump sharply criticized Netanyahu in two interviews with Walla!'S political commentator.

Barak Ravid for his new book "Trump's Peace: The Abrahamic Agreements and the Revolution in the Middle East."

The straw that broke the camel's back for the former US president was the fact that Netanyahu congratulated Joe Biden on his election victory while Trump was still trying to question the results.

"The first person to congratulate Biden was Bibi Netanyahu," Trump said in a 90-minute interview with Ravid on his Florida estate in April this year, when it appeared that Israel was on its way to a fifth consecutive election.

"The man I did for him more than I did for any other person I worked with ... Bibi could have sat quietly. He made a terrible mistake."

During his tenure as prime minister and during the last four election campaigns, Netanyahu presented his relationship with Trump, who was very popular with the Israeli public, as his business card and used it in election propaganda.

The Likud has placed huge signs across the country with a joint picture of Trump and Netanyahu under the heading "Another League."

For internal political reasons, both Netanyahu and Trump have nurtured the public image that their relations are close and that there are no disputes between them.

The reality, according to the interview with Trump, was completely different.

Trump admitted to Ravid that he had made various moves that would help Netanyahu survive politically as prime minister, but he felt he did not receive the same treatment from Netanyahu.

One of the examples Trump gave was his decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights a few days before the Israeli elections in April 2019.

"It was a big deal," Trump said. "People told me it was a gift worth ten billion dollars ... I did it before the election - and it helped him (Netanyahu - Bar) a lot. Maybe that helped him get a draw. That is, he would have lost the election exclusively and thanks to me he came out in a draw. It rose a lot in the polls after the decision on the Golan Heights. It increased by 10% or 15%. "It

is difficult to know whether the decision regarding the Golan Heights did have an effect, as Trump claims. Ravid notes in his book that about a week before the April 2019 elections, a survey by the Israel Democracy Institute showed that 66% of Jewish citizens That American recognition of Israel's sovereignty in the Golan Heights will strengthen Netanyahu's position in the elections.

At least five times during the interview, Trump mentioned that Netanyahu congratulated Biden on a video he posted.

He said that the person who showed him the video was his wife Melania.

"No one has done for Bibi more than me. I loved Bibi. I still love Bibi. But I also love loyalty," Trump said.

"The first person to congratulate Joe Biden was Bibi. And not only did he congratulate him, he did so in a video."

I told Trump that Netanyahu was not the first to congratulate Biden. He posted his greeting 12 hours after American television channels announced Biden's victory and after many other leaders posted greetings. "Okay, let's say he greeted earlier than most of the others," Trump said. "I haven't spoken to him since. He should go fuck."

Trump claimed in an interview that other world leaders, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin or Brazilian President Jair Bolsonero, waited with congratulations to Baiden "because they understood the election was tailor-made." Netanyahu, he said, did not wait. "Before the ink dried Bibi posted a greeting, and more did so in a video," Trump said. "He congratulated Biden and mentioned their great friendship. They had no friendship. Because if there were such friendship the Obama administration would not have made the nuclear deal with Iran. And guess what - now they are going to do it again (deal with Iran)."

"No one has done for Bibi more than me."

Ravid spoke with Trump once again last July.

A month earlier, Netanyahu left the Prime Minister's Office after 12 consecutive years and Naftali Bennett was sworn in in his place.

"I like him, but he has been in office for a long time," the former president said of Netanyahu.

"People were very angry with him when he was the first to call to congratulate Biden."

Trump spoke of Netanyahu in a slightly more refined tone, but after a few minutes he returned to the same allegations he had made against him a few months earlier.

Ravid told Trump that he was one of the people who was angry with Netanyahu.

"Yeah. To be fair, I was not enthusiastic about it," he said.

"No one, except one or two Israeli prime ministers, has done more for Israel than President Donald Trump. Look at the Golan."

Trump noted that he believes the congratulations to Baiden were a show of disloyalty to him on Netanyahu's part.

"Not only did he call. He posted a terrible video. It looks like he's begging for love. I said to myself - look, look how things are changing. I was disappointed. In the end it hurt him very much in the Israeli public. As you know, I am very popular with the Israeli public. I "I think it hurt him a lot," Trump said.
