The closing day of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Tartous included an awareness theatrical performance, songs, dances, poetry, and highlights the achievements of persons with disabilities.
The official of psychological support at the Syrian Society for Social Development, Sarab Ruqayya, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the activities came as part of a special campaign entitled “Different in abilities, equal in rights and humanity.” In addition to the difficulties and challenges they suffer from, and provide suggestions and solutions to help them overcome them.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Society for Social Development in Tartous, with the support of the High Commissioner for Refugees, carried out over two weeks a series of activities and awareness sessions on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
