The test is no longer required in the ski areas, and other industries are now also calling for the Corona rules to be relaxed, for example on the golf course or in the spa.
Cautious signals of approval are coming from the CSU.
Munich - At the moment, the driver is rarely swung on the driving range of the Holledau golf course. This is less due to the weather - the iron golfers train their tee off even in frost and snow - but rather to the corona test *, which the members need according to the 2G-plus rule. "I have been contacted by members who have been golfing with us for 25 years, who have had their third vaccination and who cannot understand why they by far need a test for their favorite outdoor sport," says Andreas Zeising, managing director of the Holledauer Golfanlage .
Many golfers are currently in winter mode.
But Zeising says that as soon as the temperatures rise again slightly, the issue will catch up with the golf clubs not only on the driving range, but also on the courses.
"If a household then plays nine holes on our 120 hectare facility, how is that supposed to increase the infection rate?" He therefore wants the Corona * rules to be adjusted - the ski areas have also been improved.
Corona in Bavaria: Many golf clubs are closing because they cannot control the 2G plus rule
The Bavarian Golf Association is even clearer: spokesman Tobias Hennecke says that in the association you cannot understand why vaccinated golfers are not allowed to play a round outside without a test, while they can sit together at the table in the clubhouse restaurant without a test. In May, the state government allowed the golf courses to be opened on the grounds that the risk of infection was not a problem given the size of the facilities. But now many golf clubs are closing because they cannot monitor compliance with the 2G plus rule, says Hennecke.
For the ski areas, the state government decided last week to return from the 2G-plus regulation to 2G, and the strict requirements for the utilization of the lifts were also relaxed. This not only called the golfers on the scene, but also the Bavarian Spa Association - because daily tests are currently also mandatory in the spa facilities. The chairman Peter Berek, CSU district administrator in Wunsiedel, is in favor of a cross-sector 2G rule, also for culture. The obligation to test is also being questioned in Bavarian zoos. With the current low number of visitors, at least the booster vaccination should be equated with a test, says Dag Encke, director of the Nuremberg zoo *.

Corona in Bavaria: CSU politician hopes to gradually dispense with the obligation to test
The state government has to weigh up in the next cabinet meetings: Can the obligation to test be relaxed in some areas thanks to falling incidences in Bavaria - even if the situation in the clinics is still critical and virologists are warning against the Omikron variant? There are cautious signals. For example, the sports policy spokesman for the CSU parliamentary group in the state parliament, Berthold Rüth, says: “Our top priority must be to get the virus under control so that we can safely celebrate Christmas. But I welcome the relaxation for the ski areas and assume that we will gradually be able to do without the test requirement for other outdoor leisure activities. ”
