Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take deterrent measures against the Israeli occupation to stop its illegal settlement plans throughout the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the international positions recently adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, rejecting the settlement plans of the occupation that threaten the prospect of reaching a solution to the Palestinian issue in a way that guarantees the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered that these positions, efforts and decisions are insufficient and must be translated into measures to force the occupation to stop the theft of Palestinian land in the West Bank and the vicinity of the occupied city of Jerusalem, foremost of which is Resolution 2334, which condemns Israeli settlement and calls for its immediate cessation.
