Prime Minister Naftali Bennett landed this evening (Sunday) in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Bennett's visit to the country is the first official visit of the Israeli prime minister.
Bennett was received at the airport by Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and will meet tomorrow with Abu Dhabi's heir to the throne, Muhammad bin Zayed.
"I appreciate your warm hospitality, it's a wonderful welcome," Bennett said upon landing.
"I am very excited to be here, on the first official visit of an Israeli leader here. We look forward to strengthening the relationship between the two countries."

According to the Prime Minister's Office, the leaders will discuss deepening ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, with an emphasis on economic and regional issues that will contribute to prosperity, welfare and strengthening stability between the countries.
During the visit, Bennett is also expected to discuss with the regent the strengthening of the Avraham agreements.
The two are also expected to discuss the Iranian issue.
In recent weeks, relations between the United Arab Emirates and Iran have warmed.
The UAE's national security adviser, Sheikh Tahanun Ben-Zayed, recently visited Tehran and met with President Ibrahim Raisi.
In addition, Emirati officials have said in recent days that they do not believe further sanctions on Iran will be beneficial and called for the renewal of the nuclear deal.
