The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society stated that anti-cancer should not be neglected while preventing the epidemic. Ageing is the main risk factor for cancer, and the elderly should receive regular cancer screenings.

Liao Jingxian, chairman of the Cancer Education Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, reminded the public that the rate of cancer screening for Hong Kong people has fallen sharply due to the impact of the epidemic. Even if the epidemic is under control, the rate of cancer screening has not risen significantly. The situation is worrying.
