Scans for suspects
The mayor's car was completely burned, as was his wife's car parked nearby.
Damage was caused to another car.
Police have opened an investigation into the suspicion of arson and are investigating the background to the incident

The car of the mayor of Tirat Carmel, Arie Tal, was set on fire last night (Sunday) and burned completely.
His wife's car also caught fire, damaging another vehicle parked nearby.
Police have opened an investigation and are conducting searches for suspects.
The background to the incident is still unknown.
