The event, which was held by the Cash Aid Project of the Al-Ihsan Charitable Association in Qamishli, included a variety of activities for children with special needs on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The event, which was held with the support of UNICEF, and attended by a number of children with special needs and their families, varied between theatrical, artistic, musical and awareness shows, games activities and competitions, and then gifts were distributed to the attendees.
The director of the case in the Cash project, Muhammad Al-Ali, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that today’s initiative includes various activities for children with special needs, in addition to the awareness aspect of corona disease and the importance of special care for disabled children because their immunity is weak, indicating that the children participating in the initiative are 30 children with different disabilities.
The child, Muhammad Mohsen, and the mother of the child, Hala, who participated in the celebration, pointed out the importance of the efforts provided by the Cash project, which helps them in the conditions of life, noting that today's activity brought joy to the hearts of children and helped them psychologically to interact and share activities with other children.
