New Middle East: Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met today (Monday) with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the acting ruler of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Zayed.

This is a historic meeting between the leaders of Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi.

The prime minister was expected to present his host with new data on the deployment of Iranian militias and UAV units recently discovered by Israeli intelligence agencies.

According to senior Israeli officials, the move comes in an attempt to keep the United Arab Emirates away from Iran, given the recent rapprochement between the two countries.

Upon landing in Abu Dhabi, the Prime Minister was received by the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, in an honor guard.

"I appreciate your warm hospitality," the prime minister said after landing. "It's a wonderful welcome.

I am very excited to be here, on the first official visit of an Israeli leader here.

We look forward to strengthening the relationship between the two countries. "

Bennett and the Crown Prince were expected to talk about expanding cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism as well as political and security issues.

Yesterday it was revealed in "Israel Today" that in Jerusalem they expressed concern that the emirates, who are interested in purchasing an iron dome and a magic wand worth billions, will increase the pressure to advance the deal, taking advantage of Israel's desire to separate the United Arab Emirates and Iran.
