The pandemic situation in the Erding district continues to ease: the incidence fell again on Monday, although not as much as the days before - from 321.1 to 319.7.
Erding
- On Monday, 99 new SarsCoV-2 infections were transmitted to the health department, said district office spokeswoman Nicole Tietze - two more than on Monday last week. The newly infected are between zero and 86 years old. They come from Dorfen (22), Erding (13), Berglern and Taufkirchen (8 each), Wartenberg (7), Neuching (6), Moosinning (5), Forstern and Isen (4 each), Inning am Holz (3) , Bockhorn, Finsing, Fraunberg, Lengdorf, Pastetten, Steinkirchen and Wörth (2 each) as well as Buch am Buchrain, Hohenpolding, Oberding, St. Wolfgang and Walpertskirchen (1 each).
The authority is currently aware of 914 cases, 1263 district citizens are in quarantine - the lowest values since October.
According to Tietzes, there are new children from these schools and daycare centers: Carl Orff Primary School Altenerding (19 students / one teacher), Middle School Finsing (10), Primary School Schröding (4) and Primary School Finsing (1).
The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 rises to 14,227, the number of those who have recovered to 13,166.
About the situation in the Erding Clinic: 16 Covid patients were cared for there on Monday, five of them in the intensive care unit and one ventilated.
The intensive care patients are between 36 and 77 years old.
In the previous week, 803 Covid patients were admitted across Bavaria, and 1016 are in intensive care units, according to the State Office for Health.
