Margot Kirste wants to offer flood victims from the Ahr valley a few carefree days in Tölzer Land.
A donation account has now been opened for this purpose.

The dramatic flood in the Ahr valley in July will not be forgotten.
Many people have lost everything.
There was and is a wave of helpfulness in the district.
Margot Kirste wants affected families to take a short vacation in Bad Tölz.
Bad Tölz - Many people from the Tölzer Land want to help the flood victims in the Ahr valley.
This is also the case with long-time Tölz city councilor Margot Kirste.
She had the idea of giving affected families from the disaster area a short vacation in Bad Tölz.
She therefore got in touch with the director of the Tölzer Sport Youth Hostel, Holger Strobel, who spontaneously agreed to reserve five family rooms for affected families from the Ahr valley over Easter 2022.
Stays should be financed through donations
The stay between Good Friday, April 15, until Easter Monday, April 18, is to be financed through donations.
A family room costs around 500 euros each.
Dean Heinrich Soffel of the evangelical parish Bad Tölz provides the account of the dean's office as a donation account for the campaign.
Kirste: “In addition, District Administrator Josef Niedermaier will support us in contacting the local district administrators, so that affected families from the Ahr Valley can breathe through our Oberland for a few days and gain new courage.
We very much hope that the population will support our idea with donations. "
There should also be a small supporting program for the guests
Holger Strobel, who already has many reservations for the coming year in the youth hostel, is pleased that the youth hostel organization, as the sponsor of the house, has spontaneously taken on a family stay worth over 500 euros. Kirste continues: “But we are also thinking of families in our district, of children and young people, as many families or single parents are affected by the pandemic. Parents have lost their jobs and money for education or school free time is not available. If enough donations come together, we want to offer help here as well. ”The donations will benefit the selected families in full. The journey will be organized by the train itself. The guests are received in Bad Tölz and should also be offered a small supporting program.
